You can burn body fat and lose weight without spending money on weight loss supplements. These supplements either do not work or will only give you a short-term boost at best. Some of these supplements could harm your health!


NOTE:  Unless your daily nutrition is perfect, you do need to take dietary supplements for health. Multivitamins, krill oil and vitamin D3 are examples of common supplements that people take.  Consult with your doctor before taking dietary supplements.

Get your nutrition primarily from whole, natural foods.  It makes common sense and your bank account will be much fatter! DON’T LOOK FOR SHORTCUTS TO WEIGHT LOSS AND FITNESS!

Be wary of any program that conditions your weight loss success on their product and/or asks you to go to extremes. Even if you follow the extremes and are successful for a short time, you can not maintain such programs, and you regain the weight.

Some examples:

  • Quick weight loss pills

  • 500-calorie a day severe restriction diets

  • Diets omitting a macronutrient, such as chronic no-carb diets

  • Spot reduction products, such as belly fat burning gadgets

  • Programs that conditions that you eat their prepared foods

Instead, build your health and body on a foundation that will last over your lifetime.

And, don’t be a “weigh scale junkie!” What’s a “weigh scale junkie?” My definition of it is a person who is so worried about losing weight that they lose sight of the fact that fat loss and inches loss is much more important. Permanent fat loss takes longer and you have to really work hard and smart to achieve it. Pills, powders and patches won’t get the job done when it comes to permanent fat loss/weight loss.

The FDA has recalled 72 weight loss products due to “risky” ingredients.

“Some of the products claim to be ‘natural’ or to contain only ‘herbal’ ingredients, but actually contain potentially harmful ingredients not listed on the product labels or in promotional advertisements,” the FDA said. “These products have not been approved by the FDA, are illegal, and may be potentially harmful to unsuspecting consumers.”

The FDA went on to state that these products contained prescription strength amounts that exceeded the recommended dosage and could cause health risks. Reactions could range from high blood pressure, seizures, tachycardia, palpitations and increased risk of depression.

The tried and true formula will give you the fat loss, weight loss and health you want: regular exercise and good nutrition! Don’t waste time and money on weight loss supplements!
